My Extracurricular Activities

Aside from my studies, I am also involved in many clubs and volunteering activities on campus! These allow me to take a break from the endless onslaught of assignments and exams in Engineering.

Mechanical Team Co-Leader

The Dynamics (Mechanical Engineering) Team is responsible for all parts moving, such as the suspension, wheels, brakes and steering. We also co-work with Electrical in dealing with the motor.

As a Co-Lead my job is to know the big picture, work with and delegate tasks to other members on the team. I am responsible for processing and approving the work done by team members.

The image to the right is our rollcage design, which was a collaboration between Structural and Dynamics teams.

General Volunteer and Patroller

As a patroller, we work in teams of two to walk around campus, and when called upon, to walk clients to their homes when they feel unsafe to walk or ride public transportation alone at night.

As part of our job, we must operate radio communication gear, deliver basic first aid when needed, and generally do what it takes to keep the client safe and happy
